I have listened to all 7 of the books in this series up to this point. The narration by Katherine Kellgren is completely mind-blowing. I have listened to hours of her with great joy. You can't really call it narration, it's more like a one woman radio play. The books are well-written, with a jauntily descriptive style including plenty of action. They include many intriguing historical contexts as well as exciting problems and empowering (or sometimes just lucky!) solutions. I imagine they are aimed mostly towards teenage girls, but any boy or adult with a sense of adventure, (or even just an appreciation of excellent acting and audio production) will enjoy it mightily. Oh, yes, they will.
